The Connla Stud was established in 2006 and is a small, family run business set in the heart of Suffolk's Constable Country. We currently have 5 Connemara ponies, 3 geldings to show and produce, and our foundation broodmares, Rathcoona Cove and Arrow Peruna. These two will hopefully be the first of a quality band of broodmares that we are aiming to expand the stud with. 

Lauren Ryan has been riding and working with horses since the age of 10. Now 21, she works part time at Bentley Riding Centre, as a Ride Escort and Groom. She has worked at the establishment for many years and continues to do so. She is also studying for a BSc degree in Breeding and Stud Management at Writtle College, which will enable her to have a full time career in studwork in the coming future.
