We
have had a great day out at Horse of the Year Show today and are extremely pleased for Henrietta Knight as Lecarrow King has
won Ridden Connemara of the Year! Rathcoona Cove is in foal to him for 2010. He has had an amazing season and we are looking
forward to Olympia which he has also qualified for!

We are
thrilled that Rathcoona Cove has been covered and scanned in foal to 'Lecarrow King' who is currently on top form
on the showing circuit. He is a wonderful stamp of pony, very true to type and we are hoping he is a good match for Rathcoona
Cove!

An emotional farewell today to Storm (Rowley), who has been sold to a very good home and surely will go on to be
a success.
He was with us for 3 years, having been bought
and brought over from Ireland. He had many fine results when shown in hand at several quality shows.
Gone, but never forgotten, we wish him well, and will surely meet again.

As winter looms, we are
currently doing last minute fencing and other odd jobs that need doing while the weather isn't too bad! Ardnasella Lad
is being prepared for next years breaking in, he is happily being lunged and getting used to his tack and so far all has gone
well! Storm is now being ridden daily and is happy hacking out round the village and being schooled! We will be aiming him
at Novice Ridden next season.

to the National Amateur Showing Championships today. Archie came 3rd in the Open
Youngstock class, Storm came 5th in the open M&M class
and later came 3rd in the M&M Large Breeds in hand class! We
are very pleased to be able to qualify for this show and we will definately be going along to the Winter Championships!
26th August
We took Storm and Rickamore Archer to the Eye Country show today to both compete in the In
hand M&M Largre Breeds Youngstock class. Another very good day as Storm won the class and Rickamore Archer came in 3rd! Very pleasing!
25th July
Rickamore Archer and Storm travelled to Towerlands for the British Connemara Society Eastern Region In hand
and Ridden Show. Rickamore Archer was 2nd in the 2 year old Purebred fillies and geldings class,
and also claiming the Best Gelding Rosette! Storm experienced his first time in the ring in the
3 year old Purebred fillies and geldings class and came away a worthy 2nd!
A very good result not only for his first show but against the very good competition and we were very pleased to be judged
by the racing trainer and Connemara breeder, Henrietta Knight! Another good day all round!
14th July
Rickamore Archer was taken to his first show today. Tendring Hundered is a large show with all sorts of agricultural
classes. Archie won his class, the In hand Mountain and Moorland Large Breeds

are all extremely pleased!

March
We have purchased our first Connemara Broodmare called Rathcoona Cove.
She is by Moy Hazy Cove out of a mare by Westside Fred. She is a beautiful type, plenty of bone and has bred before, as coincidently,
we have her first foal, STORM. We will choose a stallion for her over the next few months.
