Connla Roisin ( named Rose in Gaelic)
Rathcoona Cove's first filly was also born on the 5th June. Her sire
is 2009's prolific showing winner 'Lecarrow King.' She has plenty of bone and substance, with a very correct movement.
She was awarded 'Reserve Yearling Champion' at the British Connemara Breed Show in July 2011. Being
our first filly and having great bloodlines, we will be retaining this filly for showing and breeding in the future.

Connla Coinneach
( named Handsome in Gaelic) - SOLD
'Frodo' was born on the 5th June 2009. A very healthy black colt,
he has a very unusual 'ring' shaped marking on his head, hence his name. He is a full brother to Connla Realta
Reatha (below), sire Dunlewey Rigmarole and dam Rathcoona Cove.
He is a very correct, compact pony with lots of depth
to his chest and good strong limbs. He is going to make a wonderful showing/Working Hunter Pony. We aim to show him in the
next season and hopefully do as well as his brother. He has a wonderful gentle temperament and very easy to handle. We have
high hopes for this pony.

Storm-SOLD
'Rowley' as he is known to the family, was brought over from Ireland in December 2006 as
a two year old, We later brought his dam, Rathcoona Cove.
His sire is the 9 times Supreme Champion, Curraghmore Cashel. In 2008 he was reserve Supreme
Champion at Clifden.
Storm was broken
in 2007 and behaved impeccably. He is being hacked out and schooled most days and we are very pleased with his temperament.
He currently stands at 14.1hh.
We were
very pleased with a 2nd place at his first show which was the British Connemara Society Eastern Show in the 3 year old
class! At his second show he won his class!
Rowley was sold to a wonderful home in August 09 and we wish him and Charlotte the best
of luck in everything they do.
Rickamore Archer
'Archie' was our first Connemara
pony and came to us in February 2006 as a weanling.
He was born at Pam Megahey's Rickamore
Stud in May 2005 and is by Ard Archer and out of a mare by Ashfield Sparrow. We are aiming to show this gelding at a competitive
level.
His first show was the Tendring Show in July 2007 where he won not only his first class, but the In-hand M&M
Championship as well! He also was placed 2nd at the British Connemara Pony Society Eastern Region show in the 2 year
old class which we were extremely pleased with as the competition was of a very good standard!

Ardnasella Lad-SOLD
Paddy' is by Quilca Silver out of a mare by Ruaille Buaille Bui. He
has a great temperament, very inquisitive!
This
youngster will make a super in hand showing pony this year and a great allrounder. He is also showing particular
talent over fences! We are hoping he will make a great jumping and Working Hunter Pony. He is currently being broken
in and he has behaved impeccably, we are very pleased with him. He has been sold to a friend of the family so we are very
pleased he is still close to home!
